First day - Erster Tag
So I'm back, and it it feels incredibly good to be back. My new host family is very nice - as expected. I don't live where I usually used to live, in Swieqi, which I was a bit sad about at first. But now I'm totally ok with living here in Balluta Bay. Because as the name suggests, 5 minutes walk and I'm at the coast. My host mum and dad are retired, but still very active and interested. We've already had some good talks. And I'm sensing there are more to come.
So far I don't have that much to tell. I'm just really happy here. The sun is shining, the temperatures go up 20°C, there's sea everywhere you look, but those thing are not even what makes Malta so special to me. I love the atmosphere here, the people, the friendliness, the way of life, which is kind of relaxed and peaceful but still active.
Tomorrow school is starting, and I'll be writing more I guess. But for now, enough of the blah blah, here comes some photo material.
So, ich bin zurück in Malta, und es tut so gut, wieder hier zu sein. Meine Familie ist toll, das Haus auch, aber das war zu erwarten. Zuerst war ich ein bisschen traurig, dass ich nicht wie sonst in Swieqi wohnen würde, aber das hat sich wieder gelegt. Jetzt wohne ich in Balluta Bay, wo, wie der Name schon andeutet, ich nur 5 Minuten laufen muss, um am Meer zu sein. Meine Gasteltern sind beide in Rente, aber noch sehr aktiv. Wir hatten schon ein paar echt interessante Gespräche und es werden sicher noch einige kommen.
Bis jetzt habe ich nicht viel zu erzählen. Ich bin einfach nur sehr froh, hier zu sein. Richtig glücklich. Die Sonne scheint, es ist schön warm, überall wo man hinsieht ist Meer, aber das ist es nicht mal, was Malta für mich so besonders macht. Es ist die Atmosphäre, die Menschen, die Art und Weise zu leben - entspannt und friedlich, aber doch irgendwie auch aktiv.
Morgen fängt die Schule an, dann werde ich sicher wieder mehr erzählen können. Aber bis dahin, Schluss mit dem Bla bla, hier kommen Bilder.
